Online Privacy Policy

The following privacy policy covers everyone who views, visits, and/or uses any service, software, website, or other product (hereafter referred to as “Sites”) that is made or used by  The Voxel Tech Corp. “Voxel Academy” (hereafter referred to as “the Company”) and collects data. Any use of words including “we,” “our,” or “us” refers to the Company and its Sites.

By viewing, visiting, accessing, and/or using our Sites, you acknowledge and agree to this privacy policy including the details outlined below, in addition to the terms described elsewhere on our Sites.

1. Information You Provide Manually

a. We collect the information that you provide to use when you use our Sites. This includes information related to login, purchasing, and registration. For example, the information you may be prompted to provide us with may include but not be limited to the following information about yourself or your child: name, email, mailing address, billing information, phone numbers, medical and learning notes, and birthdays.

b. We do not share this information.

2. Information You Provide Automatically

a. We may use tags, log files, cookies, web beacons, and other tools to collect information about your visit to our Sites. This includes data related to when and how you used our Sites, from where you navigated to our Sites, how much time and how you use the time you spend on our Sites, and other metrics. For example, the information we collect may include but not be limited to the following: the type of operating system and/or web browser you use, your IP address, and ISP.

b. We do not collect information on your online activity that is not connected to our Sites. We do not sell your information to advertisers.

3. Information You Decline to Provide

a. Collection of the above stated information and related data helps us to provide the full experience of our Sites. If you decline cookies or adjust other tracking preferences in your web browser, you may not be able to use our Sites fully or at all.

b. We do not share cookie data with any third-parties.

4. Information We Use

a. The way in which we use the information we collect may include but not be limited to the following: creating, updating, and allowing you to access your account; registering you and your child for our programs; protecting our Sites and the Company generally; observing and improving the use of our Sites, the support we offer, and our monitoring and analysis itself; preventing fraud, processing payments, and fulfilling orders; assisting in the sale or possible sale of our assets or business; and as required by law.

5. Information We Share

a. We collect the information that you provide to use when you use our Sites. This includes information related to login, purchasing, and registration. For example, the information you may be prompted to provide us with may include but not be limited to the following information about yourself or your child: name, email, mailing address, billing information, phone numbers, medical and learning notes, and birthdays.

c. If required for the use of third parties services, sites, and/or products, information we collect may be disclosed, transferred, and/or shared with third parties. The following is an inexhaustive list of ways in which third parties may use this information: processing payment, distributing correspondence, and maintaining data. Third parties may collect additional information and their use of that information and the information we share with them is also subject to their respective privacy policies and other terms.

d. Although we do not sell the information we collect about you, if another business or organization acquires the Company or some of our assets, information we collect may be transferred as part of the transaction. In the event of bankruptcy and/or reorganization, information we collect may be classified as an asset and be transferred or sold accordingly to third parties.

6. Protecting Youth Privacy

a. We aim to comply completely with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act COPPA. Except as part of our programming, we do not willfully collect or accept information from youth online. In rare instances, we may make exceptions to this guideline if absolutely necessary including but not limited to the following reasons: collecting emergency contact information; retaining unsolicited information to investigate its relevance; and anything required by law.

7. Third-Party Links

a. All embedded or linked-to third party sites, services, and products are subject to their own content including but not limited to privacy policies and other terms for which we are not liable or responsible. Because we do not control third party content, we do not provide an ongoing endorsement of it. Access and usage of third-party sites is at your own risk.

8. Visiting Our Sites from Outside the US

a. Our Sites are developed and maintained in the United States. If you access and/or use our Sites from outside the US, you acknowledge and agree to any international implications that occur as a result of your voluntary transfer of data between those jurisdictions.

9. Protecting Your Privacy

a. We implement operational and electronic procedures to secure and protect the information we collect in order to maintain the accuracy, prevent the unauthorized access, and facilitate the correct use of the information we collect. We may use SSL protocol and other technology to protect this information.

10. Terms

a. In addition to this privacy policy, by using our Sites you also agree to all other terms described or linked to therein.

11. Updates

a. We may modify, add, and/or remove sections or words in this policy at any point in time without notice.

12. Credit Card Information

a. To protect your information, your credit card information is not stored on our servers.

b. Additionally, SSL encryption protects the credit card information that you put into our Sites as it is sent to us from your computer.

13. Social Media Information

a. Like all third parties, we are not affiliated with the social media and networks we use for communication, promotion, programming, or that we link to on our Sites. Examples include but are not limited to YouTube, Instagram, Twitter, Parlor and Facebook.

b. This privacy policy applies to our online presence on or use of the above-mentioned social media and other third-party sites, services, and products we use. We claim no liability for any disagreements or loss of content between the user and any third party that may arise.

c. Your use or your child’s use of any third-party service, app, site, or product is subject to its terms and policies. The use of social media in any way, even under our supervision, is at the sole discretion and risk of you and your child.

14. Copyright and IP Policy

a. On behalf of yourself, other users who access your account, and your child, you agree to not use our Sites or social media to violate any intellectual property rights or share, display, or in any way disseminate any offensive, copyrighted, or trademarked material.

15. Disclaimer

a. You agree that we are not liable for any of the following: damaged, lost, misdirected, incomplete, or illegible information; network or computer error or malfunction; disruption related to viruses, bugs, worms, internet traffic or any other intervention that is unauthorized; or damage caused by your access to our Sites.

b. Our Sites are provided “as is” and we expressly disclaim all warranties, implied or expressed, with regard to our Sites, products, services, information you provide, economic benefit to your, availability, merchantability, quality, non-infringement, or fitness for any particular purpose.

c. Further, we make no claim or warranty that our Sites are, were, or will be free of any errors or that errors are to be corrected.

d. Pursuant to applicable laws and regulations, some of the above-stated exclusions may not be applicable to you.

16. Indemnification

a. You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold the Company, its directors, employees, officers, and agents, harmless against and from any expenses, claims, losses, liabilities, and damages, without limitation, including attorneys’ costs and fees that are in any way connected with or arise out of the following: any claim that information you provide damaged a third party or violated or infringed on the IP, privacy, publicity, property, or confidentiality of a third party; your use of or access to our Sites including our social media; your violation of any third-party right, without limitation, including privacy rights, property rights, confidentiality, property, or publicity; or your violation of our terms of service, including this privacy policy.
