Toys-to-life is the awesome concept of mixing tech into our toys to give them an additional life in the digital space! Using NFC (Near Field Chip) technology we’ll be creating tech to put into custom modeled and 3D printed Amiibo statues. Then we’ll let them brawl it out on the Nintendo Switch’s Smash Bros Ultimate! Learn to make custom 3D models using CAD software. Utilize 3D printing to rapidly prototype, bringing your concepts to life. You’ll also learn about the NFC technology that powers Amiibo figures, and how to program your designs to function as Amiibo figures in compatible Nintendo games. By the end of the camp, you’ll have a fully functional, 3D printed Amiibo figure that you can showcase to your friends and family.
